Saturday 10th or Sunday 11th May 2025
Location: Anywhere that brings people together! Your village green, town hall, community centre, school, care home, office, business, shop, or even at home.

Whether you want to fundraise for a local cause, strengthen your community spirit, or simply enjoy great local food, The Big Somerset Picnic is your chance to do it in style!

Make your picnic extra special by decorating your hall, community centre, or event space and enter our competition!

‍Prizes & Judging Criteria:

Judging is based on creativity and impact rather than size or quantity of decorations.
Submit photos of your decorated venue by 6pm on Monday 12th May 2025 to info@somersetday.com.
Winners will be announced by 24th May 2025.

Winner: Crowned as “Somerset Picnic 2025 Champion” with a trophy to display until next year and a keepsake plaque.
Runners-up: Receive special plaques to commemorate their achievement.
