Mark your calendars and prepare your picnic baskets! The Big Somerset Picnic 2025 is set to take place over the Somerset Day weekend of  10th and 11th  May 2025.

This year’s events promise to be the biggest and best yet, celebrating Somerset’s vibrant communities and rich cultural heritage and offering local charities, organisations and communities opportunities to raise funds.

Taking place in your local village or town hall, community centre, place of learning, care home, office, or business premises, The Big Somerset Picnic is more than just an event; it’s an opportunity for communities to come together, enjoy a ‘picnic’ indoors or outdoors, and celebrate the county’s unique spirit whilst raising funds for a local organisation or cause.
