The Somerset Day Trail Challenge

The Somerset Day Trail Challenge: Visit places you’ve never been to or somewhere you love in Somerset!

We’re inviting everyone to take part in our Somerset Day 2022 Trail Challenge - an interactive map with details of physical destinations to help locals and visitors to fly the flag for Somerset by exploring in celebration of Somerset Day.

Somerset Day 2022 is all about living our heritage - past, present and future.

To celebrate, we have teamed up with some amazing sponsors to put together a map to help showcase what Somerset has to offer and give you the opportunity to celebrate Somerset as a place to live, work, learn and play, from next month.

As well as showcasing some fabulous destinations to visit as part of our 2022 trail challenge, we’re giving you the chance to WIN a selection of prizes by submitting an interesting/wacky/fun photo of your days out or home-set-up with the Somerset flag (or bunting) flying.

From 2nd April, you can take part by visiting new places, as well as those that you love, under the following 10 categories - you can visit as many or as few as you want from any or all of the trails :
