The Somerset Day Community Interest Company were delighted to receive a letter from Buckingham Palace this week, with her Majesty The Queen sending her best wishes for our celebrations of Somerset Day on May 11^th:

Her Majesty was interested to learn that Somerset flags will be flown throughout the County on this date and appreciates your thoughtfulness in writing as you did. In return, The Queen sends her best wishes to all concerned for a most successful event.
