A family day out to celebrate Somerset and VE Day

From 8 – 11 May, Haynes International Motor Museum invites you to visit for a celebratory long weekend event highlighting both Somerset Day and the 75th anniversary of VE day.

Look out for the Museum team, who will be taking the World War II Jeep on the road to reveal the important role of Somerset during the war and share some local stories as they visit schools, villages and significant sites in South Somerset.

Visitors to the Museum during the event can enjoy a special educational display with the chance to handle original artefacts such as weapons, uniforms and equipment. Afterwards you can explore the Museum and enjoy hot and cold refreshments in the onsite Café. Find out more at www.himm.co.uk
